Course Description:  This course is an introduction to microcomputer applications, related technology, and technology adaptations for the classroom.  Integration of word processing, database, spreadsheet, and telecommunications applications are explored.  The course focuses on software and Internet site selection and evaluation, teacher utility programs, authoring, webpage constructions, adapting software to meet student needs, and the application of microcomputers to specific academic areas.  Field hours required.
